First Presbyterian Church seeks to provide all of our young disciples with opportunities to hear and learn about the love of God and the life of Christ in a loving, supportive atmosphere.

Scouting Program  

First Presbyterian Church is the sponsor for Cub Scout Pack 215 which is for boys entering the 1st through 5th grade.  To learn more about this program, please check out our Scouting Page and the Cub Scout Pack 215 Website.

Summer Sizzle

Vacation Bible School
One Week Each Summer for 9:00 am until 12:00 pm Noon
A week long learning opportunity for children ages 3 years through 8th Grade where they play, sings, create and explore God through Bible study and worship.  

LAUNCH
Lifting Up and Uniting New Church Heroes
A new week long camp for children who have completed Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.  During the week, we learn about the heroes of our faith through small group Bible study, recreation, crafts and songs.  We also do various service projects as we strive to raise children to think about the care and goodwill towards our brothers and sisters in Christ.  

SOAR
Service Opportunities through Arts and Recreation
A week long camp for children who have completed 3rd through 5th Grade.   During the week we focus on a particular topic that is important to our faith development.  We unpack the stories through arts and recreation that are then passed on to the community through various service projects.  

One Shots
In addition to our three week long camps we also offer various “one shot” days for pre-school – elementary that include, but are not limited to:  Pre-school water day, pre-school character day, elementary gem mining trips, elementary tubing trips, and more.
